Safe to say… I’ll be making these weekly now 😂

🥯 Gluten-Free Sourdough English Muffins

🥣 Ingredients
• ½ cup active sourdough starter
• 1 cup gluten-free flour
• ¾ cup milk (or water)
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp psyllium husk (or 2 tsp powder)
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp baking soda (add right before cooking)

🥄 Instructions

1. Mix
Combine wet ingredients, then add dry.
👉 Mix until smooth (thick batter)

2. Rest
Cover and let sit 2–4 hours
👉 Look for bubbles + slight rise

3. Add baking soda
Right before cooking, mix in ½ tsp

4. Cook (not bake!)
Low–med low heat, lightly greased pan

⏱ Cook:
• 5–7 min first side
• flip
• 5–7 min second side

👉 Keep heat LOW so they cook through

✔ Cover pan for better rise
✔ Low + slow
✔ If browning too fast → lower heat

✂️ Let cool slightly, then split with a fork

Healing is a process.

And sometimes, someone will come along and rip those wounds open again…
but even there—He is still with you.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
He is a GOOD, good God who loves you unconditionally—no matter what.

He isn’t asking you to have it all together.
He just wants your heart… your hurts… your healing.

So bring it all to Him.
Not just the polished parts—
but the pain, the questions, the pieces that still ache.

He sees you.
He hasn’t forgotten you.
And He’s not going anywhere. ❤️

I didn't realize how much I was missing in these two words: "I AM"
"I AM the Bread of Life" 🥖
"I AM the Light of the World" 🕯️
.... I had read them before...
but I wasn't really sitting with them.

Two words that are so easily skimmed over.
There is a difference in knowing OF Jesus and really knowing about Jesus, and knowing Him through what He says about Himself.

And when you truly understand who He is.... you start to understand who you are in Him.

Have you ever made a sandwich, looked at it, and thought…

Because let’s be honest…

That one sad slice of meat in the middle?
It’s not doing much 🤣

Most deli meat slices only have about ~2g of protein each.

So if you’re only adding 1–2 slices…

Happy Resurrection Day ✝️

Today isn’t about the bunny…
it’s about the Risen Lamb—our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

He is RISEN.
And He is coming again.

The grave couldn’t hold Jesus down…
and when we truly know Him, the grave won’t hold us down either.

When death comes… eternal life begins. 🙌🏼

And if you’ve been feeling far from God… unsure… or like you need to “get your life together” first—

you don’t.

God loves you more than you can comprehend.
Not because you have it all figured out… but because He is love.

His arms are open wide, inviting you to come to Him just as you are. Because the resurrection story is a story of an invitation for you to come and see.

You don’t have to clean yourself up first.
You don’t have to have all the answers.

But He also loves you too much to leave you where you are.

You are forgivable.
You are lovable.
The grace of the Lord is a generous and His mercy is an undeserved gift given to you when you believe.

There is no such thing as “too far gone.”

The thief on the cross mocked Jesus till almost his last breath… yet in his final moments he said, “Remember me, Lord,” and Jesus replied, “You will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:42–43)

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

And when we humbly come before Him—bringing our sin, repenting (turning away), and turning back to God—He meets us there with grace, mercy, love and new life.

We must humbly submit to Jesus… not just know of Him, but truly know Him.

The same Jesus who saves you…
is the One who transforms you.

So come and see Him 🤍

I wanted to share something from my heart as a mom. ❤️

A few years ago, I felt a gentle nudge to rethink how we were celebrating Easter in our home.

Not out of guilt…
not out of pressure…
but from a place of wanting my kids to truly know why we celebrate.

So I made a small but meaningful change.

I started replacing some of the basket traditions with things that pointed back to Jesus— and I wrote them a letter.

A letter to remind them of what Easter is really about…
His sacrifice,
His love,
and the truth that He didn’t stay in the tomb.

Because while traditions can be fun and meaningful,
I never want them to overshadow the greatest gift we’ve ever been given.

And I know every family is different—there’s so much grace in that.
This isn’t about doing things “right”… it’s just about being intentional with what matters most.

If you’ve ever felt that quiet tug in your heart to bring more of Jesus into your Easter, you’re not alone 🤍

I’m sharing the letter I wrote for my kids here— take it, use it, adapt it for your family, and pray over it.

At the end of the day…
it’s not about the bunny.
It’s about the Lamb.

Good Friday is not “good” because it was easy.
It’s good because it was necessary.

It was the day sin was exposed for what it really is—
heavy… costly… deadly.

The cross wasn’t symbolic.
It was brutal.
It was personal.
It was for you and for me.

The weight of our sin didn’t disappear—
it was placed on Him.

And for a moment…
it looked like darkness won.

But Sunday was coming.

And just like they didn’t all understand it then—
many still don’t now.

“Come and see.”
Come and see the empty tomb.
Come and see that death didn’t win.
Come and see that Jesus is not just a story—He is alive.

And just as sure as He rose then…
He is coming back again.

Not quietly.
Not hidden.

For ALL to see.

Every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess.

So the real question isn’t just—
Do you celebrate the resurrection?

It’s—
Are you prepared for His return?

Book of Isaiah spoke of Him hundreds of years before He came.
And in Book of Matthew 24:44, Jesus tells us to be ready—
because He will come when we least expect it.

This isn’t fear-driven.
This is love-driven urgency.

He gets us…
Then He changes us.
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

His hands are still open.
His invitation still stands.

Mercy. Grace. Love.

But grace is not permission to stay the same.
He didn’t die so we could remain in sin—
He died to set us free from it.

So today…
as we remember the cross…

Don’t just look back.

Prepare your heart.

Because Sunday came once…
and He’s coming again.

I would’ve shouted “Hosanna!”
…then days later, “Crucify Him.”

I wish I could say I wouldn’t—
but I can’t.

Because I wouldn’t have had the full picture.

But now… I do.

Jesus died for me.
He rose again.
And He’s coming again.

So I read His Word as my guardrail—
to stay grounded,
to avoid deception,
to grow closer to Him.

Because the closer I get…
the clearer I see.

So this week—
don’t forget the Lamb.

We are Barabbas.
The guilty one… set free.

I am the guilty one.

And sitting with the Lord this week?
It’s been heavy…

But Jesus wipes it clean—because I believe.

So ask yourself:

What does this week really mean to you?
Is there sorrow for your sin?
Is there joy because of Jesus?

Don’t miss Him.

This isn’t just a season…
it’s the Savior. 🩸

I challenge you:
1. Reveal my sin.
2. Break my heart for what breaks Yours.

And if Jesus isn’t the center of your Easter…
ask Him why.

Because Jesus loves you.
He sees you. He gets you.

But He loves you too much to leave you there.

He came to remove the veil,
to cleanse you,
to change you,
to make you new.

He won’t shame you—
but He won’t leave you stuck.

That’s the gospel. 🤍

I truly believe how you stock your fridge says a lot about your health…

BUT let’s be real for a second 👇

The American food system is failing us.

From how food is produced…
to what’s actually in it…
to how EXPENSIVE it is to keep a fridge full of real, whole foods.

It’s not as simple as “just eat healthy.”

And that’s why I don’t take it lightly…

We are incredibly blessed to be able to stock our fridge with whole, nourishing food for our family 🤍

Because I know that’s not easy for everyone.

At the end of the day…

👉 food from God is best.

Not perfect.
Not always easy.
But intentional.

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about doing the best you can with what you have…
and choosing better when you can.

Be honest…

How many times have you prayed for change…
but didn’t actually change anything?

I heard a quote the other day that I can’t shake…

“Bring your 100%.
God brings His 100%.
God will do what you can’t do…
but God won’t do what you can do.” 🔥

And that hit me like a ton of bricks.

Because if I’m being honest…
there have been seasons in my life where I prayed for change
but wasn’t willing to change.

I remember when I first started my health journey back in 2014…
fad diets, quick fixes, extremes, starting over again and again—
trying everything except consistency.

And then one day it clicked:

If I want change… I have to change.

Now, walking with the Lord, I see it even clearer.

God cares about our whole wellness—
not just one piece.

That’s why I focus on:
✨ Word
✨ Worship
✨ Witness
✨ Workout & Nutrition

Because it all connects. You can’t expect a full transformation while only tending to one area.

But here’s the hard truth…

God isn’t going to do for you what you’re unwilling to do.

If I pray for discipline but choose the couch over movement…
If I pray for growth but avoid the work…
If I pray for change but stay comfortable…

That’s not faith. That’s avoidance.

God will meet you in your obedience.
He will strengthen you, guide you, and bless what you place in His hands…

But He’s not going to force your steps.

So the question is:

Are you bringing your 100%…
or are you expecting God to do it all for you?

Because the breakthrough often comes
after the step of obedience. 🤍

We’re human.

And there is grace for that.

But we still show up when we can.

It starts with who we believe God is.

And from that… we begin to understand who we are.

I’m convinced that being the queen of kitchen concoctions is a God-given gift. 👑🥗

There are two kinds of people in this world:

People who open the fridge and say…
“Ugh… there’s nothing to eat in here.”

And people like me who open the fridge and think…
“Ooo… I can work with this.”

Random veggies?
Leftover meat?
Half a container of something?
Throw it all together, season it, and somehow it turns into a healthy meal my family actually enjoys. 😆

I honestly love being able to look at what we already have and turn it into something nourishing to serve my family. It feels like a little creative challenge every time.

So now I’m curious…

A good workout isn’t just the workout.
There are vital pieces that make the whole thing work:
• Warm up�• Workout�• Cool down�• Stretch

When we neglect those pieces, we put ourselves at risk for injury.
Trust me… I’ve learned this the hard way.

There was a time when I rushed through a “warm up” just so I could get straight to the real workout. And stretching? Ha… you might get about 60 seconds of my time.
And guess what happened?
Injury. A few times.

Maturity for me now looks like slowing down and making sure I’m honoring all aspects of wellness—not just the part that feels productive or exciting. A whole-body approach matters.

And honestly, the same principle applies to our spiritual lives.
When we neglect the vital pieces God gave us for growth, we open ourselves up to spiritual injury.

Things like:
• Worship�• Fellowship�• Bible study�• Prayer

These aren’t optional add-ons to faith. They are foundational rhythms God gave us to help us grow, mature, and stay spiritually healthy.
Just like our physical bodies need more than the “main workout,” our spiritual lives need more than one single practice.
God designed these rhythms for a reason.

They strengthen us.�They protect us.�They help us grow.

And sometimes maturity looks like realizing the parts we once rushed through are actually the pieces we need the most.
Today’s reminder: Don’t skip the stretch—physically or spiritually.

Whole-body wellness matters.�Whole-life faithfulness does too. 🤍

Ever notice how you can eat breakfast… and by 10:30 you’re starving again?

You might have had toast, cereal, or a quick smoothie and thought,
“I just ate—why am I hungry already?”

One reason this happens is because the meal didn’t contain enough protein.

Protein isn’t just for building muscle. It helps:
• stabilize blood sugar
• keep you fuller longer
• support hormone balance
• maintain steady energy throughout the day

When meals are mostly carbs without enough protein, hunger tends to come back quickly.

A simple shift that can make a big difference: include a source of protein at every meal.

Think things like:
🥚 eggs
🍗 chicken
🐟 fish
🥣 Greek yogurt
🧀 cottage cheese
🌱 beans or lentils
🥜 nuts

Now looking at this plate, it may not seem like there’s much protein here—just one egg (about 6 grams).

But what you don’t see is the 15 grams of protein in my tea 😉

That brings this meal to about 21 grams of protein total, which is right around a great target for many meals.

A simple guideline that helps a lot of people:
➡️ Aim for ~20 grams of protein per meal.

Small adjustments like this can make a big difference in how your body feels throughout the day. ❤️
